Hello friends, how has your week been so far ? I have to say that this week has been very good to me and I am really happy and motivated because I discovered a few new, up and coming designers and unique concepts in the last few days… Blogging is a fun but fast paced business and being the perfectionist that I am, I always strive to do my very best and create pretty blog posts you will enjoy reading. I am always on the lookout for new designs and love to be one of the first people to feature a unique new brand or business or pick up on a coming trend… which, as you can probably imagine, can be quite a challenge sometimes !!

Today I am happy to share an interior design product with you that I have recently discovered and am already a big fan of – Prettypegs ! This little gem was founded just last year by Stockholm based couple, Jana Cagin and Mikael Söderblom and offers a solid ash wood collection of unique, pretty and colorful furniture legs for IKEA’s sofas, beds, benches and drawers.

I am a huge fan of IKEA furniture and love to mix it with vintage and design furniture for a fun, creative look. Over the years, I have used IKEA pieces in many children’s rooms and often customised them in one way or the other but never even thought about replacing the legs – until I discovered Prettypegs that is ! Their collection of ten different leg shapes in many colours offers endless possibilities and is just perfect for giving your IKEA furniture a more customised, cheerful look.

This is such a fun, easy way to instantly add some color to any room that these past few days I have been walking through the house, looking at different furniture pieces in a new way and contemplating a tiny leg-change here and there… Hmmm, I wonder if husband will even notice – he is so used to the constant interior changes in our house , poor thing !
