Nursery Dreamscapes – Benedetta Mori Ubaldini’s Wire Sculptures !

During my recents visits to numerous London design stores I stumbled upon something really fresh and unique… I saw a single, whimsical mesh cloud hanging from a ceiling and it really caught my eyes and imagination alike… I just had to know more, so I did a little research and discovered the magical world of Benedetta Mori Ubaldini.

London-based Italian sculptor Benedetta Mori Ubaldini uses chicken wire to create delicate, light wight sculptures that have an almost transparent, dream-like quality to them. Her playful animal sculptures are a fitting representation of childhood and would be perfect for a nursery or playroom !

Most of her pieces are not for sale but the Clouds and Birds in the photos above are available from Italian design company Magisin Germany for example via Ambiente Direct !
