The Art of Upcycling: Vinyl Records Turned Wall Clocks !

On my search for the perfect wall clock for a shared children’s room I am currently designing, I came across Estonian designer Pavel Sidorenko’s wonderful idea of recycling (or as he calls it upcycling) old vinyl records by turning them into some of the most creative, whimsical wall clocks I have ever seen.

The Talinn designer’s Re Vinyl clocks are not only pretty to look at, they are also green as can be !  By fashioning a completely new product out of something old and used like these vinyl records, no new raw materials are used and there is less waste to dispose of !

Upcycling, indeed  – I love it !
