My Favorite Kids Winter Basics !

The weather here in Germany has been positively arctic lately and so I thought I’d share some of my all time favorite winter basics for kids with you, some of which I have been buying for years !
Littlestarblog Kids Winter Basics

1.  Mini A Ture Wen Winter Jacket:  Launched in 2001, this Danish company (thanks to it’s designer Anne Katrine Lemvigh Montag)  produces beautiful yet practical, functional, highly durable but never restrictive or uncomfortable  kids clothing ! My son especially loves the Mini A Ture Wen Jacket, with it’s unique cut, hood and zipper one one side. He gets a new one in a different color each year and while he loves it passionately because it makes him feel like an astronaut, I love that it makes hats and scarfs obsolete ! How great is that ?!

2. Ugg Toddlers Classic Black: I admit it… I used to be a critic… until I got a pair of Ugg Boots for Christmas and tried them on with bare feet ! My feet had never felt softer, more comfortable boots before and ever since that day I am a convert !  Of course, I had to buy some for my kids, too ! 😉

3. Sorel Boy’s Toddler Yoot Pak: This winter boots by long established company Sorel are perfekt for all kinds of winter outdoor activities. They are available in both fun patterns and classic colors and crafted from waterproof leather and vulcanized rubber to keep water out. Whatever the weather, the 6mm recycled felt inner boot keeps your children’s feet warm (down to -40° below zero) and also features a 2.5mm bonded felt frost plug and plush snow cuff. No matter how long or hard your little Eskimos play outside, the removable and washable liners make it easy to ensure that they have dry, warm boots on every morning. What more could you possibly wish for ?!

4. Mini A Ture Wanni Snow Suit: This snow suit from Mini A Ture is a water-resistant, repellent and breathable play suit. It keeps your little snow bunny warm and cozy and is available in different colors !
